Where Trails Meet Targets

Join the excitement and camaraderie of participating in a Women’s only Run and Gun Competition. This event consists of a 5K (3.2 Miles) Ranch Road Course with 5 Shooting Stations using two guns with an Average of 30 shots per station plus a Shotgun Bonus station in the Del Norte Mountains South of Alpine Texas.

This year’s event includes new challenges and experiences.  

Traditional Run and Gun event where you will have the opportunity to win the Grand Prize of an AR 15 Rifle plus prizes for 2nd and 3rd places plus most accurate shooter participating is the full Challenge of a Run and Gun Event. This event is scored on both accuracy (60%) and time (40%).

License to Carry Proficiency Qualification

In addition to the Targets & Trails events, the qualification to obtain a license to carry (LTC) may be obtained at this date and location. The four hour online course must be completed prior to this qualification course. This also a great opportunity to refresh your knowledge and skills even if you have a current LTC.

Non-Traditional Opportunity

Shooters riding in Rural Terrain Vehicles (RTV) on the Targets and Trails Shooting course will now be able to utilize the same challenging shooting stations. Competitors ride in an RTV throughout the course rather than walking or running. The Competitors would experience each unique station and its challenges. The Shot count will be the same as the Traditional event. Prizes will be based on accuracy only and 1st, 2nd and 3rd  place prizes will be awarded.  If a competitor does not have access to an RTV, arrangements will be made to provide participants with access to transportation depending on availability.
